Spring is in the air

It's been so beautiful here in Arizona. The temperatures have been hovering in the 80s, the skies blue and the breeze warm. If only it could stay this way always.

I've been very busy of late. This weekend was spent on planning our writers conference next April and then a new members tea for our new Desert Rose RWA members. It was a lot of fun.

Sunday went by in a blur of catching up on my to do list and lo and behold, today is Monday again.

Check in with me on Wednesday. I'll be post a fun interview with Donna Hatch:

Donna has had a passion for writing since the age of 8 when she wrote her
first short story. During her sophomore year in high school, she wrote her first
full-length novel, a science fiction romance. She wrote her second novel, a
fantasy romance during her senior year. Needless to say, English and Creative
Writing were always her favorite subjects. In between caring for six children,
(7 counting her husband) she manages to carve out time to indulge in her writing
obsession, with varying degrees of success, although she writes most often late
at night instead of sleeping. A native of Arizona, she now writes Regency
Romance and Fantasy. (Still working on getting published in ) nd yes, all of her
heroes are patterned after her husband of over 21 years, who continues to prove
that there really is a happily ever after.

Are you kidding me??? Spring is in the air??? It was 8 this morning when I got up! And we have new snow on the ground. I think for me spring is still just "all in my head".

I am reading a local book right now, but I think I am going to finally read "Whispers" next. I hope I like it. I am looking forward to it.
I can't remember if I told you this - I gave "Echoes" to our local librarian to barrow, and she loved it, said it was really interesting "like reading two books in one".

LOL, Wendy. This is the time of year when it's wonderful to live in Arizona. Check back with me in August when you are having mild and wonderful 80s and we are sweltering in the 110s. :-)

I'm excited to see what you think of Whispers. Hope you like it. After you finish, I'll tell you one of the stories that gave me the spark of the idea for that book. (True story of Arizona history)
