Can there be too much sunshine?

A question often asked in Arizona. In August, the answer is yes. But in March, when other parts of the country are buried in snow, the answer is definitely no. Today is supposed to reach the high 80s. The grass is green, flowers blooming (allergies crazy) and it's hard to focus on anything but being outside.

I'm at the 1/2 way point on the second book in my series and it's a place that really needs drive to push through. Unfortunately, all I can think about is the chirping birds and the great outdoors. A part of me says I should just give up the ghost, unplug and go outside, but books don't get written when the writer is away, so here I sit, painfully pulling each word out. :-)

Hope your day is more fun.

Hey Erin!
Quick question. Have you ever thought of writing an all historical fiction book? I just love the historical parts of your books, I sometimes hate to come back to the present.

Hi Wendy, funny you should ask. I think of writing historicals all the time. In fact, the book I'm working on now has a time travel element that takes us back to ancient Ireland. I love the research so much that I think I must at some point give it a try staying in one time period--a historical one. But then again, I do so love the paranormal elements too... :-)

Even a his. mystery with a female main char. of course!
I really fell in love with Ella in "Whispers" I could have easily read a whole book of her.
